Description
The Points is a 12W LED track light in black aluminium, designed to run on 48V AC low-voltage track systems. The fitting houses integrated LEDs behind a circular diffuser that produces a 36° beam angle, making it suitable for accent lighting on artwork, retail displays, or architectural features in residential and commercial spaces. The light is dimmable when paired with a compatible track system and dimmer.
Designed for recessed or surface-mounted track rails, the Points installs onto standard three-circuit or single-circuit 48V tracks with a rotatable connector that allows the light to be angled along the track run. The 36° beam concentrates light into a defined pool rather than flooding a room, so multiple units are typically spaced along a track to create overlapping pools of light across gallery walls, kitchen worktops, or retail shelving.
The black aluminium housing provides a low-profile installation that sits close to the ceiling line when fitted to recessed track, or projects minimally when surface-mounted. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments - this is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or anywhere subject to moisture. The 12W LED output replaces approximately 75W of halogen track lighting while producing significantly less heat.

Frequently Asked
What track system does this fit?
The Points is designed for 48V AC low-voltage track systems. It will not fit standard 230V mains-voltage track. Check your existing track rail specification before ordering to confirm 48V compatibility.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, the integrated LED is dimmable when the 48V track system is connected to a compatible dimmer. Dimming performance depends on the track power supply and dimmer model - consult your electrician if uncertain.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and must only be used in dry indoor rooms. For bathrooms, look for track lights rated IP44 or higher.
What is the 36° beam angle suited for?
A 36° beam is a medium spotlight angle, narrower than a flood but wider than a pinspot. It works well for accent lighting on wall art, shelving, or worktops where you want defined pools of light rather than general ambient fill.
