Description

The Basis track luminaire is a linear LED fitting with an integrated 24W light source, delivering 1630 lumens at 2700K through a 120° beam angle. The matt black aluminium housing mounts onto a compatible 48V AC track system (track sold separately) and provides continuous linear illumination suited to retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen islands and commercial spaces.

Designed for ceiling-mounted track installations where continuous linear light is needed rather than adjustable spotlights, the fitting runs on low-voltage 48V AC systems and requires a compatible track power supply and track rail. The 120° beam angle provides wide, even distribution rather than focused spot lighting, making it effective for ambient and task lighting across worktops, counters and display surfaces. The fitting locks into the track with a twist-and-lock mechanism and can be repositioned along the track length as needed.

The black aluminium body measures approximately 1200mm long and projects around 40mm from the track rail when installed. The matt black finish reduces glare and blends into dark ceilings and track systems commonly used in retail and hospitality interiors. The CRI of 90 ensures accurate colour rendering for product displays, artwork and food preparation areas. The 2700K colour temperature produces a warm white output comparable to halogen and traditional incandescent lighting.

What track system does this fit?

The luminaire is designed for 48V AC track systems. It will not fit standard 230V mains track rails. Check that your existing track operates on 48V AC before purchasing, or install a compatible 48V track system and power supply.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and should be run at full output on a standard 48V AC track power supply.

What length is the fitting?

The linear luminaire is approximately 1200mm long. Exact dimensions should be confirmed with the manufacturer's technical data if precise spacing is critical to your installation.
