Description

The Basis is a 1200mm linear track luminaire with an integrated 30W LED and a 120° beam angle, designed for installation on 48V AC track systems. The matt black aluminium body houses a continuous LED strip behind a diffuser that distributes light evenly along the full 1.2m length, providing both general illumination and task lighting in one fitting.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential track lighting installations where continuous linear light is needed rather than individual spotlights, the Basis replaces multiple spot fittings with a single luminaire. The 120° beam angle gives wide coverage, making it suitable for lighting wall displays, worktops, bar counters and open-plan living areas. The 48V system requires a compatible track and power supply (sold separately), which is safer than mains-voltage track in public and commercial environments.

The black aluminium body measures approximately 50mm wide by 60mm deep, giving a low-profile cross-section that minimises visual bulk on the ceiling. The fitting clicks into standard 48V track rails and can be positioned anywhere along the track run, adjusted during installation or moved later without re-wiring. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer and driver pairing - consult with us before specifying if dimming is required.
