Description

The Tenity is a 2-metre three-circuit track rail in matt black extruded aluminium, designed as the mounting infrastructure for modular track lighting systems. The rail contains three separate electrical circuits running its length, allowing different groups of track heads to be switched or dimmed independently on the same rail. The track accepts any or compatible three-circuit track head, giving flexibility to add, remove or reposition individual spotlights without re-wiring.

Designed for retail, hospitality, gallery and residential spaces where lighting needs change over time, the track mounts to ceilings or beams either surface-mounted via fixing brackets or recessed into a plasterboard or timber ceiling. The matt black finish minimises visual presence against dark ceilings and pairs with black or gunmetal track heads to create a cohesive lighting system. The 2m length suits most domestic rooms and can be joined end-to-end with connector pieces (sold separately) to create longer runs.

The extruded aluminium profile measures approximately 40mm wide by 30mm deep, with copper conductors recessed inside the channel to carry mains voltage to each track head. The three-circuit design means a typical installation might have ambient spotlights on circuit one, accent lights on circuit two, and task lights on circuit three, all controlled from separate switches or dimmers at the wall. The rail can be either surface-mounted using fixing brackets (sold separately) or recessed into a plasterboard or timber ceiling. Surface mounting is quicker and allows the track to be repositioned later, while recessed installation hides the profile almost flush with the ceiling.

What's the maximum load per circuit?

Check the Specification section for the exact rating, but most three-circuit tracks support 1000-1500W per circuit. Divide the total wattage of the track heads across the three circuits to avoid overloading a single circuit.
