Description

The Exility is a white-finished aluminium L-corner connector designed to join two sections of surface-mounted track lighting at a 90° angle. The connector clips into the track's internal rail system on both arms, maintaining electrical continuity across the corner while providing mechanical support for the track configuration.

Used in residential and commercial track lighting installations where the track needs to turn a corner along a wall, around a room perimeter, or across a ceiling grid. The L-configuration allows track lighting to follow non-linear layouts without requiring separate power feeds at each wall section. The connector fits flush to the ceiling or wall surface when used with compatible surface-mounted track sections.

The white aluminium finish matches 's standard white track extrusions and provides a clean appearance in rooms with white or light-coloured ceilings. The connector maintains the same profile depth as the track itself, so spotlights and pendants fitted to the track can pass through the corner without obstruction. Installation requires fixing the track sections either side of the connector, then clipping the connector into place over the track rails.

What track system is this compatible with?

This L-corner connector is designed for surface-mounted track lighting systems. It fits track sections with matching internal rail profiles and is not universally compatible with other brands' track systems.

Does it carry electrical current through the corner?

Yes. The connector maintains electrical continuity across the 90° corner, allowing spotlights and pendants to be fitted anywhere along the track run including immediately after the corner.

Can spotlights be fitted directly onto the connector?

No. The connector itself does not accept light fittings. Spotlights and pendants clip onto the track sections either side of the connector. The connector maintains the track profile so fittings can be positioned close to the corner if needed.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

The connector is designed for indoor surface-mounted track installations and carries no IP rating. It should not be used in damp or outdoor locations unless the entire track system is rated for exterior use.
