Description

This surface-mounted pendant track is a 1m section of brushed brass aluminium profile designed to carry low-voltage DC 24V pendant lights on a linear ceiling track system. The track mounts directly to the ceiling surface without recessing, making it suitable for installations where cutting into the ceiling structure is not practical or where the track itself is intended as a visible design element.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, retail spaces and hospitality environments where multiple pendant lights need to be positioned along a linear run, the track accepts compatible pendant fittings that clip into the channel and can be repositioned along the length without re-wiring. The DC 24V supply runs through concealed conductors inside the aluminium profile, with the track itself acting as both the structural support and the electrical distribution system for the pendants.

The brushed brass finish on the aluminium extrusion provides a warm metallic accent that works with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from direct moisture exposure. Multiple 1m sections can be joined end-to-end using connector pieces (sold separately) to create longer runs, with the track system requiring a separate DC 24V transformer and driver unit (also sold separately) to convert mains voltage to the low-voltage supply the track carries.

The track accepts pendant fittings designed for DC 24V track systems. Check product specifications for compatibility - not all pendants fit all track profiles. Contact us if you need confirmation on a specific pendant model.

Does the track include a power supply?

No. The track requires a separate DC 24V transformer/driver unit to convert 230V mains down to 24V DC. The transformer must be rated to handle the combined wattage of all pendants on the track run.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Multiple 1m sections can be connected end-to-end using track connector pieces (sold separately). Straight connectors, corner connectors and T-junction connectors are available depending on the layout required.

Is the track suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher rated fittings in zones near water sources.
