Flarity Surface-Mounted Pendant Track Black 800mm - Black

This surface-mounted pendant track is an 800mm flexible black aluminium rail designed for 24V DC track lighting systems. The rail can be bent to form curved runs across ceilings or walls, allowing track lighting to follow architectural features, kitchen islands, or gallery walls rather than being constrained to straight lines. The track accepts compatible 24V pendant fittings (sold separately) that clip into the channel at any point along its length.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors where task or accent lighting needs to follow a non-linear path, the flexible rail suits kitchen worktops with curved edges, curved reception desks, retail displays with rounded corners, and gallery installations where lighting needs to highlight multiple wall sections without gaps. The surface-mounted fixing means the track sits proud of the ceiling or wall surface by approximately 15-20mm, with the power supply housed remotely and connected via low-voltage cable.

The black powder-coated aluminium finish provides a neutral backdrop that recedes visually when track heads are installed, allowing the light sources and illuminated surfaces to dominate rather than the track itself. The 24V DC system operates at extra-low voltage, reducing electrical risk compared to mains-voltage track and allowing the rail to be handled and repositioned during installation without switching off the main consumer unit. The IP20 rating makes this suitable for dry indoor environments only.

The track's flexibility is achieved through a segmented internal structure that allows bending to a minimum radius of approximately 500mm without kinking or damaging the conductive rails inside. This makes it possible to create smooth curves rather than angular corners when routing track around furniture or architectural details. The 800mm length can be extended by joining multiple sections end-to-end using compatible connectors (sold separately), or cut shorter on site if needed for tighter spaces.

Can the track be bent to any shape?

The track can be bent to form smooth curves with a minimum radius of approximately 500mm. Tighter bends may kink the aluminium or damage the internal conductive rails. The track cannot be twisted or bent in multiple planes simultaneously.

What fittings does it accept?

The track accepts 24V DC track pendant fittings and compatible third-party fittings designed for the same track profile. Fittings clip into the channel and can be repositioned along the length without tools. Mains-voltage track fittings are not compatible.

Does it include a power supply?

No. The track requires a separate 24V DC power supply and driver, which must be specified based on the total wattage of all pendant fittings installed on the track. The power supply connects to the track via low-voltage cable at one end.

Can multiple tracks be joined?

Yes. Multiple 800mm sections can be joined end-to-end using compatible track connectors (sold separately) to create longer runs. The track can also be cut shorter on site if needed, though this requires careful cutting to avoid damaging the internal conductive rails.
