Description

This surface-mounted pendant track is a 2-metre black aluminium rail designed to carry low-voltage pendant fittings in modular track lighting systems. The track runs on 24V DC and houses both power conductors and mechanical mounting points for compatible pendant adapters. The exposed-edge profile provides a visible architectural element rather than a recessed or concealed mounting, making the track itself part of the room's design language.

Designed for retail interiors, galleries, hospitality spaces and domestic kitchens or dining areas where lighting needs to be reconfigured without re-wiring, the track allows pendants to be slid along the rail and locked at any point. Multiple tracks can be joined end-to-end or run in parallel lines to create zoned lighting over islands, counters and display areas. The black finish integrates with contemporary interiors, industrial schemes and minimalist residential settings.

The aluminium extrusion measures approximately 30mm wide and projects 25mm from the ceiling once surface-mounted with the supplied fixings. The track accepts only 24V DC pendant adapters compatible with this system - standard mains-voltage track heads will not fit. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from direct moisture exposure, so bathrooms and outdoor installations are not suitable.

The track accepts 24V DC pendant adapters designed for this system. Standard mains-voltage track heads and pendants from other manufacturers will not fit the rail profile or the low-voltage power conductors. Contact us to confirm compatibility with specific pendant models.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. provides connectors to join multiple 2m sections end-to-end, allowing runs longer than 2m. Parallel tracks can also be installed to create multi-line configurations over larger surfaces.

Is the track dimmable?

The track itself does not carry dimming functionality. Dimming capability depends on the driver/transformer supplying the 24V DC power to the track. If the driver is dimmable and controlled via a compatible dimmer, the pendant lights on the track will dim accordingly.

What ceiling height is needed?

The track itself adds minimal height - approximately 25mm projection from the ceiling. The total drop depends on the pendant adapters and shades fitted to the track. Most pendant installations on this system suit ceiling heights of 2.4m or above to avoid head clearance issues.
