Description

The Flarity Live Parts connector is a brass-finished track lighting component for 24V DC track systems. Constructed from aluminium with a brass finish, the cylindrical connector houses the electrical contacts that bridge power rails within modular track lighting installations. The brass finish matches the Live Parts range of track heads, adaptors and rail sections.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors where track lighting runs span multiple sections or change direction, the connector maintains continuity of power across joined rail segments. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments - living rooms, galleries, retail displays and hospitality venues with standard atmospheric conditions. The 24V DC low-voltage system reduces shock hazard during installation and reconfiguration compared to mains-voltage track.

The aluminium body provides structural strength at low weight, while the brass finish coordinates with warm-toned interiors and other brass fixtures in the Live Parts ecosystem. The connector clips into the track profile and locks the electrical contacts into position without requiring tools for standard installations. Non-dimmable operation means compatibility with basic 24V DC power supplies without needing dimming control circuitry.

This connector is part of the Live Parts 24V DC track lighting system. It only fits Live Parts track rails and is not compatible with other manufacturers' track profiles or mains-voltage systems.

Can this be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating means the connector is not protected against moisture ingress. It can be used in dry areas of kitchens away from sinks and hobs, but not in bathroom zones or anywhere subject to splashing or condensation.

Does it require tools to fit?

No. The connector clips into the track profile and locks the electrical contacts into position. Standard installations do not require tools, though a small screwdriver may help with alignment during initial fitting.

Is the finish solid brass or plated?

The connector is aluminium with a brass-effect finish, not solid brass. This reduces weight and cost while maintaining the warm metallic appearance that coordinates with other Live Parts brass components.
