Description

The Flarity live end cap terminates a 24V DC track lighting run while keeping the track electrically live, allowing spotlights and pendants to remain powered right to the end of the rail. The cylindrical cap is machined from aluminium with a brushed brass finish, measuring approximately 50mm in length and designed to clip onto the end of 's low-voltage track system.

Used in retail, gallery, residential and hospitality track installations where the track run ends at a wall, corner or architectural feature and the last fitting needs to sit close to that end point. Unlike a dead-end cap that cuts power, this live end maintains the full 24V circuit through the entire track length, useful when the final spotlight or pendant is positioned within 200mm of the track terminus.

The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that coordinates with brass track heads, pendants and other system components in the track range. The aluminium body is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only and the cap installs without tools by clipping into the track profile. The 24V DC system requires a separate driver and transformer, typically mounted remotely in a ceiling void or service cupboard.

What's the difference between a live end cap and a dead end cap?

A live end cap maintains electrical power through to the end of the track, allowing fittings to be positioned right up to the terminus. A dead end cap cuts power and is used where no fittings are needed near the track end. Use a live cap when your last spotlight or pendant sits within 200mm of the track end.

Is this compatible with mains voltage track systems?

No. This component is designed for 's 24V DC track system only and will not fit or function on 230V mains voltage tracks. Confirm your system voltage before ordering.

Does it require tools to fit?

No. The cap clips into the track profile without screws or fixings, though you may need to turn off the track circuit at the driver before installation for safety.
