Description
This Live Parts track lighting connector joins two sections of rail in a 24V DC track lighting system, finished in brass-toned aluminium. The connector maintains electrical continuity across the join while supporting the physical alignment of adjacent rail sections. Rated IP20, it is designed for indoor use only and forms part of 's modular track system where rail length, configuration and fixture placement can be customised during installation.
The connector is used when extending a single track run beyond the length of a single rail piece, when creating L-shaped or T-junction configurations, or when replacing a damaged section of rail without rewiring the entire circuit. It fits flush with the rail profile and carries the same brass finish as the rest of the Live Parts system, maintaining visual continuity along the track. The 24V DC supply runs through the connector to power fixtures mounted on either side of the join.
The aluminium body provides structural rigidity without adding significant weight to the overall track installation. The brass finish matches other components in the Live Parts range, including rails, end caps, power feeds and suspension cables. Installation requires the track to be powered off, the connector to be aligned with the rail grooves on both sides, and the locking mechanism engaged to secure the join. The connector does not include a dimmer or switch - dimming control is managed at the power supply or driver level.

Frequently Asked
What is this component used for?
This connector joins two sections of Live Parts track rail, maintaining electrical continuity and physical alignment. It is used when extending a track run, creating corner or T-junction layouts, or replacing a damaged rail section.
Is it compatible with mains voltage track systems?
No. This connector is designed for 24V DC track systems only. It will not work with 230V mains-voltage track lighting systems from other manufacturers.
Can it be used outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating means the connector offers no protection against moisture or dust ingress and is suitable for dry indoor environments only.
Does the connector include dimming control?
No. This is a passive connector that maintains electrical continuity between rail sections. Dimming is controlled at the 24V power supply or driver, not at individual connectors or fixtures.
