Description

The Flarity Live Parts track lighting component is a ceiling-mounted brushed brass cylinder housing designed to connect into 24V DC track lighting systems. The aluminium body houses the electrical connection between the ceiling supply and the drop rod or stem that feeds track heads, pendants or spotlights below.

Designed for modular track lighting installations in residential, hospitality and retail interiors, this component acts as the ceiling anchor point where individual lights connect to the track power rail. The 24V DC system allows multiple fittings to run off a single transformer, with the low voltage carried through the track itself rather than through mains-rated cabling at each point. The brushed brass finish coordinates with brass track heads and pendants in the same Live Parts range.

The cylindrical housing measures approximately 50mm in diameter with a flush ceiling plate above, giving a compact profile that suits standard 2.4-3m ceiling heights without dominating the sightline. The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight while maintaining structural integrity under the load of a suspended track head or pendant. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor environments only - kitchens, living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, offices and retail spaces where moisture exposure is minimal.

What is this component used for?

Does it work with other track systems?

The Live Parts component is designed specifically for 's 24V DC track system. It will not connect directly to mains-voltage track rails or other manufacturers' proprietary track systems without adapters.

Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the component is suitable only for dry indoor environments with no moisture exposure. It cannot be installed in bathrooms (zones 1-3), kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor location.

What transformer is needed?

The system requires a separate 24V DC transformer (sold separately) to convert mains 230V AC supply to the low-voltage DC feed carried through the track. Transformer sizing depends on the total wattage of all fittings connected to the track.
