This ceiling adaptor connects Live Parts 24V DC track lighting to a standard UK ceiling rose. The black aluminium cylinder houses the electrical connection between mains power and the low-voltage track circuit, allowing the track to be surface-mounted on ceilings without additional electrical enclosures.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors running the Live Parts system, the adaptor provides a fixed ceiling mount point where track runs begin. It works with the Live Parts 24V DC track and fittings, which operate on low voltage for safety and dimmer compatibility. The IP20 rating means it's suitable for dry indoor spaces only - living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, retail areas and offices.

The black aluminium finish matches the track and fitting range, giving a consistent monochrome appearance across the entire system. The cylindrical body measures approximately 50mm diameter and projects 150-180mm from the ceiling including the adaptor stem, making it more prominent than a traditional ceiling rose but necessary for the track's secure electrical connection.

What's required for installation?

Installation requires connection to a standard UK ceiling rose with mains power. The adaptor converts mains voltage to 24V DC for the track circuit, so you'll need a qualified electrician to wire it correctly and safely to building regulations.

Can this be used outdoors or in bathrooms?
