This rod suspension is a 500mm black aluminium stem designed to suspend track lighting rails and spotlights from ceilings, allowing track-mounted fittings to be dropped to a lower working height in rooms with high ceilings or industrial spaces. The rod connects to standard track systems at the ceiling end and accepts track-mounted spotlights or rail sections at the lower end, creating a suspended lighting arrangement.

Designed for commercial showrooms, retail spaces, galleries and residential rooms with ceiling heights above 3m, the rod suspension allows directional spotlights to be positioned closer to display surfaces or task areas without needing to mount the entire track system at ceiling level. The 500mm drop suits ceiling heights between 3-4m, bringing light sources into the 2.5-3m zone where they provide more effective illumination of counters, artwork or retail displays.

The black aluminium construction provides a lightweight yet rigid connection that prevents sway or deflection when spotlights are rotated or adjusted on the suspended track section. The finish matches 's black track system components, creating an unified appearance across ceiling-mounted and suspended sections. The rod operates on DC 24V track systems and carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry locations only.
