Description

The Flarity Live Parts pendant drop rod is a 1m aluminium extension tube in black finish, designed to suspend track-mounted spotlights or pendants further from the ceiling plane on 24V DC track systems. The rod connects between a standard Live Parts track head and a compatible spotlight or pendant fitting, carrying both power and mechanical support through a single vertical element.

Designed for retail, gallery and residential installations where track lighting needs to drop into a space rather than staying close to the ceiling, the 1m drop allows a spotlight to sit approximately 800-900mm below a 2.4m ceiling line once the track head and fitting dimensions are accounted for. This positions the light source closer to eye level for accent lighting over counters, dining tables or artwork display. The rod threads into both the track head above and the spotlight fitting below using the standard Live Parts connector system, so no additional adaptors are needed if both components are from the same range.

The black aluminium construction keeps the rod lightweight while maintaining rigidity across the 1m length, preventing sway or droop under the weight of a typical track spotlight. The IP20 rating limits use to indoor dry locations only - the system is not rated for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or any area where water contact is possible. The 24V DC supply requires a compatible Live Parts transformer and track system, so this rod cannot be retrofitted to mains-voltage track or other manufacturers' systems without checking connector and voltage compatibility first.
