Mangata Ring LED Table Lamp - Chrome

The Mangata Mod387 is a table lamp built around a 250mm ice-textured acrylic sphere suspended within a polished chrome metal frame. A 7W integrated LED inside the sphere casts 3000K warm white light through the textured surface, creating a diffused glow with scattered light points across the acrylic texture. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer.

Designed for bedside tables, side tables in living rooms, or as accent lighting on console tables and sideboards, the lamp provides ambient light rather than focused task illumination. The polished chrome frame consists of two vertical supports and a horizontal base, holding the sphere in a geometric configuration that sits approximately 300mm tall and 280mm wide. The frame gives the lamp stability on flat surfaces without needing to be weighted.

The ice-textured acrylic sphere refracts light unevenly across its surface, producing a scattered, jewel-like effect when lit. The sphere appears translucent rather than fully transparent, obscuring the LED module inside while still allowing light to pass through in all directions. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame reflects surrounding room colours and complements both contemporary and transitional interiors. The 7W LED output provides around 250 lumens, suitable for ambient lighting in spaces up to 10-12m².

Is this lamp dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 7W LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific model - confirm compatibility before installation to avoid flickering or limited dimming range.

What size surface does it need?

The horizontal chrome base measures approximately 280mm wide, so the lamp needs a surface at least 300mm square to sit safely with clearance around the frame. Suitable for standard bedside tables, console tables and side tables.

How is the acrylic sphere cleaned?

Wipe the acrylic with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with water only. Avoid household sprays, polishes or ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can cloud or crack acrylic over time.

What room size does it suit?

The 250-lumen output suits ambient lighting in spaces up to 10-12m², such as a bedroom, small study or corner of a living room. For task lighting like reading, pair with a separate directional source.
