Description

The TAVO Pebble is a table lamp built around a travertine stone cylinder base supporting a tilting matt black metal shade. The shade is shaped like a curved disc approximately 280mm in diameter, finished in black on the outer surface and white on the inner face to reflect light back through the opening. The lamp takes a single G9 bulb up to 9W (sold separately), with the bulb sitting inside the shade cavity to cast light through the front aperture.

Designed as an accent light for side tables, bedside surfaces, desks and console tables, the Pebble provides directed task or ambient light depending on how the shade is angled. The shade pivots on the stone base, allowing the light to be aimed at a book, across a desk surface, or angled upward to bounce off a nearby wall. The travertine base carries the characteristic pitting and colour variation of natural stone, so each piece differs slightly in appearance.

The combined weight of the stone base and metal shade gives the lamp stability without needing a wide footprint - the base is approximately 90mm in diameter. The black inline switch on the cable allows the lamp to be turned on and off without reaching for a wall switch. The matt black finish on the shade absorbs reflections and pairs comfortably with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors, while the travertine introduces a warmer natural texture.

What bulb does it take?

The lamp takes a single G9 bulb up to 9W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED G9 bulb between 2700K and 3000K for ambient or reading light.

Can the shade angle be adjusted?

Yes. The black metal shade tilts on a pivot joint where it meets the travertine base, allowing the light to be directed at a reading position, across a desk surface, or angled upward to bounce off a wall.

Does the travertine vary between pieces?

Yes. Each base is cut from natural travertine stone, so the pitting, colour variation and mineral inclusions differ between individual pieces. This is a characteristic of the natural material.

Is the lamp rated for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating is for indoor dry areas only. The lamp is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.
