Our stone amphora vase draws on the tapered shape of classical urns, with a rounded body that swells at the middle and narrows towards a poised neck. Standing 42cm tall and 26cm across, it makes a generous floor or table piece with real presence. The ceramic construction gives it weight and stability, so it holds its ground whether filled with tall stems or left to stand alone as a sculptural form.

The beige finish has a soft, stone-like quality that suits calm, pared-back interiors as readily as warmer, textured schemes. Left empty, the amphora shape speaks for itself in a hallway corner, beside a fireplace or on a sideboard. Filled, it takes long dried grasses, pampas, branches or faux stems beautifully, the wide body giving them room to fan out and the narrow neck keeping them upright. It sits comfortably among our other vases and works well grouped in odd numbers for a layered look.
