Description

The Southgate Cage Side Table pairs a round mirrored glass top with an open metal cage base, the wires curving out and drawing back in to form a shape a little like a hurricane lamp. The framed edge and slim rods give it a light, airy look while keeping the surface steady for drinks, books or a lamp. It stands 55cm tall with a 50cm top, a handy height to sit beside a sofa or armchair.

It comes in two colourways: a warm Bronze with a lightly brushed finish and a softer Champagne tone. Both work well in a living room or bedroom, and the darker glass top keeps the focus on the sculptural base. Choose Bronze for a deeper, aged metal look, or Champagne for something paler and easier to blend with lighter schemes.

The base is metal with a coated finish, and the top is glass set into a framed rim. To care for it, wipe the glass with a soft, damp cloth and buff dry to avoid marks, and dust the metal frame with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners so the finish stays even. Place on a level floor and use felt pads underneath if it sits on hard flooring.
