Description

The Soria vase brings a warm amber glow to any surface it sits on. Handblown from glass, it takes a rounded bottle shape with a wide, softly tapering body that narrows to a short neck and a thick rolled rim. The tone shifts as light passes through it, giving the honeyed amber colour real depth from certain angles.

Because each piece is shaped by hand, small variations in wall thickness and the odd tiny bubble are part of the making process rather than a fault. These marks give every vase its own character and add to the handmade look. The generous belly makes it well suited to a loose arrangement of dried grasses, single stems or a small bunch of seasonal blooms, while the amber glass looks just as good left empty on a shelf or windowsill.

Standing 270mm tall with a 210mm width, it has enough presence to work on its own or as part of a grouped display with vases of differing heights. Try it in a living room, on a dining table or along a hallway console where the light can catch the colour. The warm earthy tone pairs easily with wood, cream and natural textures.
