Description

This ceramic vase brings a rounded, full-bodied shape to a shelf, sideboard or dining table. The form swells gently through the middle before drawing in towards a wide, open mouth, giving stems room to fan out naturally. Standing 31cm tall with a generous 21cm width, it holds its own as a piece to be seen, whether filled or left bare. The blue glaze has a soft depth to it, catching the light across the ribbed surface so the tone shifts slightly as you move around the room.

We like this vase for larger arrangements, where longer stems and foliage can spread and settle into the wide opening. Dried grasses, eucalyptus or a loose bunch of seasonal blooms all suit its proportions, though it looks equally considered standing empty as a rounded sculptural shape.
