Description
The Rauma is a handwoven wool pouffe with a soft cube shape and a small-scale checkerboard weave across every face. The two-tone pattern mixes a warm base shade with a natural cream, giving the surface texture and depth, while the chunky yarn keeps it looking relaxed rather than fussy. It works as a footstool, a spare seat or a low side surface for a tray, and the rounded corners soften a room full of hard edges.
It comes in two colourways: Nutmeg, a soft terracotta pink shown here, and Olive, a muted green. Both sit easily with neutral sofas, wool rugs and wooden floors, so you can pick the one that suits your palette or place one of each in a larger sitting room. At 50cm square it suits living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners alike.
Each pouffe is handwoven from wool, so slight variation in the weave is part of the finish and a sign of the handmade construction. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, working with the weave, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to hold the colour. Rotate it now and then to spread wear evenly across the faces.

Frequently Asked
What colours does this pouffe come in?
Two colourways: Nutmeg, a soft terracotta pink, and Olive, a muted green. Both pair well with neutral and wooden interiors.
What is it made from?
It is handwoven from wool, using a chunky yarn that gives the surface its texture and the checkerboard pattern its depth.
How big is the pouffe?
It measures 50cm x 50cm x 45cm (W x D x H), a compact cube that works as a footstool, spare seat or low surface.
How do I clean it?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, working with the weave, and let it air dry. Avoid soaking the wool.
Can I use it as extra seating?
Yes. The cube shape and wool weave make it suitable as an occasional seat as well as a footrest, though it is not a fixed-frame chair.
