Description

The Scala ribbed pendant light features a white metal shade with vertical ribbing that diffuses light outward and downward, housing an integrated 12W LED producing 1300 lumens at 3000K. The cylindrical canopy in matching white conceals the cable run and ceiling rose connection, giving a minimal appearance above the shade.

Designed for single pendant installation over dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars, the fitting provides directed task lighting with enough ambient spill to illuminate the immediate area without needing multiple fittings. The 120° beam angle distributes light across approximately 1.5-2m of worktop or table surface depending on drop height. IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces - not suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms or outdoor covered areas.

The ribbed pattern on the white metal shade adds surface texture and breaks up the plain cylindrical form when viewed from the side, while the ribs themselves act as shallow reflectors that bounce light laterally before it exits the shade. The white finish provides a neutral backdrop that works across minimal, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors.
