Description

The Opus Organic Form pendant light pairs a free-form grey metal frame with a central frosted glass sphere, suspended from a matching grey canopy on a wire cable. The metal frame curves in an irregular loop around the glass. A single G9 bulb (sold separately, maximum 28W) sits within the frosted sphere, casting warm light through the diffusing glass and a soft glow around the metal loop.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and hallway feature positions, the pendant works in contemporary and Scandinavian-style interiors where sculptural forms and soft indirect lighting are prioritised over traditional pendant shapes. The frosted glass sphere sits partially nested within the grey metal loop, giving the fitting a balanced asymmetric profile when viewed from multiple angles. The 1200mm cable drop is adjustable on installation.

The grey powder-coated finish on the metal frame has a matte texture that softens reflections and pairs cleanly with concrete, grey tiling, and cool-toned neutral walls. The frosted glass sphere diffuses the G9 bulb's output, giving a softer effect than a bare-bulb pendant while keeping a clear sculptural silhouette. The fitting is rated IP20 for dry interior use only.

The pendant takes one G9 bulb up to 28W maximum, sold separately. Most people pair it with a 3-5W G9 LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for comfortable ambient and task light.

Is the pendant dimmable?

Yes, if you fit a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. With a standard non-dimmable bulb, use a normal on/off switch.

What height does the pendant suit?

The 1200mm cable drop is adjustable on installation. For a dining table or kitchen island, the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The cable can be shortened during fitting if needed for lower ceilings.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is suitable for dry interior locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.
