Description
This column pendant light pairs a slim cylindrical gold aluminium body with an integrated 6W LED emitting 500 lumens at a neutral 4000K colour temperature. The pendant hangs on a single cable with a matching gold canopy, creating a vertical accent over counters, bar areas or dining tables where direct downlight is needed without a wide spread.
Designed for installation over kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallway consoles and retail display surfaces, the narrow beam angle of 75 degrees focuses light downward in a controlled pool rather than washing the entire room. The pendant works well in multiples, spaced 600-800mm apart along an island or bar run to provide even coverage without overlapping pools. The gold finish adds warmth to neutral and white interiors and pairs cleanly with oak, walnut and brass hardware.
The aluminium construction keeps the weight low at under 500g per unit, reducing strain on ceiling fixings when installing multiple pendants on a single circuit. The 4000K colour temperature sits in the neutral white range, cooler than warm white (2700-3000K) but warmer than daylight (5000K+), making it suitable for task lighting where colour accuracy matters. The 90 CRI rating ensures colours appear natural under the light, which matters in kitchens and retail settings. The fitting is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior spaces only.

Frequently Asked
Is this pendant dimmable?
No. The integrated 6W LED is not dimmable and should be connected to a standard switched circuit only. Connecting it to a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage the LED driver.
What colour temperature is 4000K?
4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700-3000K) and daylight (5000K+). It provides clear, task-appropriate light without the yellow cast of warm white or the blue tint of daylight. Commonly used in kitchens, bathrooms and offices where colour accuracy matters.
How far should pendants be spaced over a kitchen island?
For even coverage with this focused 75-degree beam, space pendants 600-800mm apart along the island length. Aim to position the first and last pendant 300-400mm in from the ends of the island rather than centring a single pendant, which leaves the ends under-lit.
Can this be used in a bathroom?
The IP20 rating means this fitting is suitable for dry interior spaces only and should not be installed in bathroom zones where water spray or high humidity are present. For bathrooms, look for fittings rated IP44 or higher.
