Description

The Antic is a 4-light pendant built around two intersecting arched metal frames in a gold finish, each supporting two fluted white glass cylinder shades suspended on curved arms. Each shade houses an E27 bulb (sold separately, max 40W per socket) and terminates in a solid brass sphere at the top of each arm, balancing the visual weight of the glass below.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and console tables, the linear bar configuration spans approximately 900-1000mm horizontally and works best in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The rectangular ceiling plate conceals the cable entry point and the suspension cables lower the frame to a typical 700-900mm clearance above the table surface, depending on the room's ceiling height and the desired visual proportion.

The fluted texture on each white glass shade diffuses light evenly downwards and reduces glare from bare bulbs, while the vertical ribbing adds visual interest when the fitting is viewed from the side. The gold finish on the metal frame provides warm metallic accents that pair well with brass hardware, warm timber and neutral-toned interiors. At 40W maximum per bulb position, the fitting delivers functional task lighting rather than high-intensity illumination, making it well-suited to ambient and decorative use over dining and social spaces.

The fitting takes four E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Maximum 40W per socket. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs in the 6-10W range at 2700K-3000K for dining and ambient lighting.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself does not include dimming capability. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen - if you fit dimmable E27 LEDs and control them via a compatible wall dimmer, the light output can be dimmed. Check bulb specifications before purchasing.

No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry interior locations away from direct water contact or high-humidity environments such as bathrooms.
