Description

The Antic 4-light pendant features four ribbed glass cylinder shades suspended from a pair of intersecting gold arched frames, mounted to a rectangular gold ceiling plate. Each shade hangs from a solid brass sphere at the base of each arch, with E27 bulb fittings inside the ribbed glass (bulbs sold separately, 40W max per fitting). The two arches overlap at their centre point, creating an interlocking double-arch geometry that distributes the four light sources across approximately 1000mm of horizontal span.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and long console areas, the pendant works best over surfaces 1800-2400mm in length where the horizontal spread of light sources suits the proportions of the furniture below. The arched frame positions each shade at a different height within the overall composition - two outer shades hang slightly lower than the two inner shades where the arches cross. This variation in drop creates visual rhythm without sacrificing functional symmetry in light distribution.

The ribbed texture on each glass cylinder diffuses light from the bulbs inside, softening the output and reducing direct glare when viewed from dining or seated positions. The gold finish on the metal frame and spheres provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass hardware, warm timber tones, and neutral interiors. The pendant takes four E27 bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining light.

What length table or island does it suit?

The horizontal spread of the four light sources suits dining tables or kitchen islands between 1800mm and 2400mm in length. For shorter tables the outer shades may overhang; for longer surfaces a second pendant or additional lighting may be needed at the ends.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is not rated as dimmable. If you use dimmable LED bulbs and pair the pendant with a compatible dimmer switch, dimming may be possible, but this depends on the specific bulb and dimmer combination. Contact us before purchasing if dimming is required.
