Description

This pendant light combines a gold metallic dome with a clear glass lower section in a single bell-shaped shade, suspended on a braided cable from a matching gold canopy. The integrated 12W LED sits at the top of the shade and produces 1600 lumens of warm 3000K light through a 120° beam angle, directing most of the light downwards while allowing some upward glow through the gold gradient finish.

Designed for installation over kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the pendant provides focused task lighting with a diffused decorative layer from the gradient glass. The clear glass section at the bottom of the shade keeps the light source visible when the pendant is viewed from below, making the fitting appear lighter and less bulky than a fully opaque metal shade. The adjustable cable allows the drop to be set during installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

The gold finish on the upper dome has a satin sheen that softens reflections under natural daylight and works across both warm-toned and neutral contemporary interiors. The metal and glass construction gives the fitting a solid presence without excessive weight, and the IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. The LED is non-dimmable and wired directly to mains, so no separate driver or control gear is needed.

Is this pendant dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 12W on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to use a dimmer may damage the internal driver.

What size room does it suit?

The 1600 lumen output and 120° beam angle work well over a 4-6m² kitchen island or dining table for four. For larger dining tables or open-plan spaces, pairing two or three pendants on separate drops provides more even coverage.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The cable length is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct height above a worktop or table depending on your ceiling height. Most installations position the shade 700-900mm above the surface.

What colour temperature is 3000K?

3000K is a warm white light, similar to traditional halogen or incandescent bulbs. It sits between the warmer amber tones of 2700K and the cooler neutral white of 4000K, making it suitable for residential dining and kitchen spaces where a welcoming atmosphere is preferred.
