Description

The Rim LED ring pendant is a 900mm diameter circular frame in brass finish with an integrated 51W LED strip running around the inner edge of the ring. The LED light output of 2542 lumens provides ambient illumination through the centre of the ring and downward wash light below, with the aluminium frame itself acting as a reflector and visual anchor.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, reception areas and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the ring pendant works as a central light source or as one of a pair over longer tables. The pendant hangs on three steel suspension wires that adjust during installation, allowing the drop height to be set between 600-1500mm depending on ceiling height and table position. The brass-finish canopy mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose.

The aluminium frame is powder-coated in a brass tone that provides a warm metallic accent without the maintenance demands of solid brass or the weight it would bring. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible mains dimmer, allowing output to be reduced from full brightness to a low ambient setting. The 2600K warm-white colour temperature produces a soft, candle-like light tone that suits residential and hospitality settings.

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when used with a compatible mains dimmer. Trailing-edge dimmers typically provide smoother dimming performance with LED loads than leading-edge models. Test compatibility with your specific dimmer model before final installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The suspension wires adjust during installation to set drop heights between 600-1500mm. For a dining table, the pendant typically hangs 700-850mm above the table surface, which requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m. Lower ceilings can accommodate the pendant if the suspension is shortened.

Can the brass finish be cleaned?

The brass-effect finish is powder-coated aluminium, not solid brass, so it does not tarnish or require polishing. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid spray cleaners and abrasive materials.
