Description

The Euphoria linear pendant light combines a 1200mm brass-finish aluminium body with an integrated 36W LED strip, suspended on two cables from a matt black rectangular ceiling canopy. The LED strip runs the length of the body and emits 2700K warm white light downward through the open bottom edge, with a 90° beam angle that throws light onto worktops and dining tables without significant lateral spill.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars where task and ambient lighting combine, the pendant works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, with the cables typically trimmed to suspend the body 700-900mm above the surface. The matt black canopy measures approximately 1200mm long and 60mm wide, matching the body length and concealing the cable runs. The 36W output delivers sufficient brightness for a 2.5-3m island or a six-person dining table without needing additional ceiling spots.

The brass finish on the aluminium body is applied as a coating rather than solid brass, reducing the weight and allowing the pendant to hang on standard ceiling fixings without reinforcement. The body itself is approximately 40mm deep and 60mm wide, giving a low-profile presence that suits contemporary and mid-century interiors. The LED is factory-integrated and rated at 90 CRI, which means colours under the light render more accurately than standard 80 CRI LEDs. The pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer (sold separately).

No. The 36W LED strip is factory-integrated into the aluminium body and is not designed for end-user replacement. The LED has a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours, which equates to 15-20 years at four hours per day.

What type of dimmer is needed?

The pendant requires a trailing-edge (electronic) LED dimmer. Leading-edge dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs will cause flickering or incomplete dimming. Check the dimmer manufacturer's specifications for compatibility with 36W LED loads.

What height should the pendant be suspended?

For kitchen islands and dining tables, suspend the body 700-900mm above the surface. This places the light source at approximately 1.5-1.7m above floor level in a room with 2.4m ceilings, providing even illumination without glare when seated.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating makes it suitable only for dry indoor areas. It is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor use where moisture is present.
