Krone Crystal LED Pendant Light 800mm - Brass

The Krone is a 1m diameter ring pendant light with rectangular cut crystal bars mounted vertically around the perimeter of a circular brass frame, housing an integrated 45W LED light source at 3000K colour temperature delivering 2925 lumens. The crystal bars refract and multiply the LED output, creating a high-gloss halo effect suitable for feature lighting over large dining tables, grand entrance halls, and double-height spaces.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the pendant works as a centrepiece over dining tables 2-3m long or in reception areas where decorative and functional light are both needed. The 1m ring diameter gives presence without overwhelming typical 4-5m room widths. The crystal bars are arranged in two concentric rows, creating depth and visual layering when viewed from below or at an angle. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulbs, and the 90 CRI rating ensures accurate colour rendering for textiles, artwork and food.

The brass frame is finished in a mid-tone polished brass that catches ambient light and pairs with both warm-toned interiors and cooler greys or charcoals. Each crystal bar is individually mounted, so light passes through the crystal and reflects off multiple facets before reaching the surface below. The combined metal frame and crystal give the pendant a substantial weight and presence, reinforcing its role as a feature fitting rather than background illumination. The 180-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across the table or floor plane without creating a focused spotlight effect.

The pendant is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only and is not dimmable on standard household dimmers. The energy class G rating reflects the higher output of the 45W integrated LED compared to lower-wattage LED fittings, but delivers significantly more lumens per watt than equivalent halogen or incandescent ring fixtures.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the ring structure and is not user-replaceable. integrated LED fittings are designed for a lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours under typical residential use, which equates to approximately 10-15 years at 5 hours per day.

Can this be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is not compatible with household dimmer switches. Attempting to dim the fitting may cause flickering or damage to the driver circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1m diameter and high output make this pendant best suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the pendant may dominate the space and create glare at eye level when standing.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the fitting to cool. Wipe each crystal bar with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or allowing water to run into the brass frame or LED housing.
