Description

The Bergamo drum pendant light features a 600mm diameter grey fabric shade suspended from a matt black ceiling canopy and cable assembly. The shade is a shallow drum profile with a white diffuser panel on the underside, allowing an E27 bulb (sold separately) to cast downward and radial light through the fabric. The black drop rod extends from the canopy and connects to the fabric shade frame below.

Designed for dining tables, living room centres and bedroom installations where ambient and decorative lighting are both required, the pendant works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 600mm shade diameter provides adequate coverage for tables up to 1.6m long or seating areas up to 3m square. The grey fabric softens the light output and reduces glare compared to exposed-bulb pendants, making the fitting comfortable for dining and conversation lighting.

The fabric shade is a medium-grey tone that sits neutrally between warm and cool interior palettes. The black canopy, drop rod and internal shade frame provide a contrasting outline that defines the fitting's shape when viewed from an angle. The shade accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose LED wattage and colour temperature based on the room's function and natural light levels.

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. The bulb is not included. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for dining or living room use.

The fitting itself is not dimmable. If dimming is required, pair the pendant with a dimmable LED bulb and check that your existing dimmer switch is compatible with LED loads.
