Description

This pendant light combines a smoke-tinted glass outer shade with an inner black metal reflector housing an integrated 12W LED rated at 1600 lumens and 3000K. The glass shade graduates from clear at the rim to a darker smoke finish towards the top, softening the downward light while the inner metal reflector directs the LED beam through a 120° spread.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar areas where focused task lighting is needed without harsh glare, the pendant suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above with the shade typically positioned 700-900mm above the worktop or table surface. The cable length allows for adjustment during installation to suit different room proportions. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and outdoor exposure.

The black canopy and cable run match the inner reflector finish, creating a cohesive visual line from ceiling to shade. No. The integrated 12W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light operates at full 1600 lumen output when switched on.

What height should the pendant hang above a kitchen island?

For a kitchen island or dining table, position the shade 700-900mm above the surface. This provides adequate task lighting without the fitting intruding into sightlines across the table. Rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m may require the cable to be shortened during installation.
