Description

The Rim three-ring pendant light comprises three interlocking aluminium rings in matt black, each with integrated LED strips along the inner edge that deliver 83W of 3000K warm white light. The rings are suspended from four steel cables on a circular ceiling plate, with the two smaller rings rotating at different angles around the largest ring to create a sculptural helix when viewed from below.

Designed as a centrepiece for dining tables, double-height hallways and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the pendant combines high-output functional lighting with architectural form. The 1799 lumens combined output from all three rings provides sufficient ambient and task lighting for a 15-20m² dining or living area, while the dimmable driver allows light levels to be adjusted from full brightness down to low mood lighting via a compatible wall dimmer.

Each aluminium ring is powder-coated in matt black and measures approximately 20mm in depth, with the LED strip recessed along the inner circumference so the light source itself is not directly visible from below. The largest outer ring measures approximately 740mm in diameter, the middle ring approximately 530mm, and the smallest inner ring approximately 300mm, giving a total sculptural presence of 740mm width when hanging. The four-cable suspension allows the pendant to be installed on ceilings with existing ceiling roses or new ceiling fixings, and the cable length can be adjusted on installation to suit ceiling height.

Is this pendant dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED driver is dimmable and compatible with most trailing-edge and leading-edge wall dimmers. Dimmer performance depends on the specific dimmer model - we recommend testing with your existing dimmer or contacting us for dimmer recommendations before installation.

What ceiling height is required?

The pendant works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. The cable length is adjustable on installation, allowing the rings to hang at the appropriate height above a dining table (typically 700-900mm clearance) or in a hallway or living space where the pendant needs to clear head height.

Can the rings be positioned independently?

The rings are fixed in their interlocking helix configuration as supplied by. They cannot be repositioned or separated, as the electrical connection runs through the suspension system and the rings are designed to maintain specific angles to each other when hanging.

What colour temperature is supplied?

This model is available in either 3000K warm white or 4000K neutral white. The colour temperature is fixed at manufacture and cannot be changed after purchase. Check the product variant or contact us to confirm which colour temperature is in stock.
