Description

The Namiki wooden slat pendant light features three tiers of curved natural birch ribs arranged in a lantern-like profile, suspended from a cylindrical matt black canopy on a fabric-covered flex. An integrated 14W LED sits inside the central void, casting light through the gaps between the wooden slats and creating soft shadow patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands, the pendant works in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where the sculptural form can be appreciated from below. The three-tier structure measures approximately 350-400mm in diameter and 400-450mm in height, giving it substantial visual presence without overwhelming smaller rooms. The birch slats are left in their natural finish, showing the grain and tonal variation of the wood, which pairs comfortably with Scandi, mid-century and contemporary interiors that favour natural materials.

The 14W LED is non-replaceable and integrated into the fitting, rated at 2700K (warm white), 3000K (neutral white) or 4000K (cool white) depending on the variant selected. Lumen output varies between 254-287lm depending on colour temperature. The LED is non-dimmable and carries an IP20 rating, limiting use to dry indoor environments. The 120° beam angle and the spacing between the birch slats combine to produce diffused ambient light rather than focused task lighting.

Is the LED bulb replaceable?

No. The 14W LED is integrated into the fitting and non-replaceable. When the LED reaches end-of-life the entire fitting will need to be replaced.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated for non-dimmable operation only and should not be connected to a dimmer circuit.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor rooms only. Bathrooms, covered outdoor areas and high-humidity environments require a higher IP rating.

What colour temperature should I choose?

2700K produces a warm white light similar to traditional filament bulbs and suits living rooms and dining areas. 3000K is a neutral white that works in kitchens and hallways. 4000K is a cooler white closer to daylight and suits task-focused environments, though it may feel clinical in residential settings.
