Description

This 3 light bar pendant suspends three cylindrical smoked glass shades from a black metal canopy measuring approximately 750mm long. Each shade houses an integrated LED tube that delivers 550 lumens at 3000K warm white per drop, giving a combined 1650 lumens from the 25W total load across all three lights. The smoked glass diffuses the light while leaving the LED tube visible inside the shade, creating a decorative element when lit.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and long worktops where task and ambient light are both needed, the bar format spreads light across a linear zone rather than concentrating it in one spot. The pendant suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, with each drop adjustable on installation to sit 700-900mm above the surface below. The black metal frame and smoked glass pair with industrial, contemporary and Scandi-leaning interiors without competing with warmer finishes elsewhere in the room.

The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, allowing the light level to be reduced for evening dining or raised for food preparation. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor spaces only. The metal canopy fixes to standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the cable runs for all three drops inside the housing.

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not designed to be user-replaceable. The rated lifespan is typically 25,000+ hours, which equates to approximately 12-15 years of typical domestic use before output degrades noticeably.

Can this be dimmed?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when used with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Check dimmer compatibility before installation to avoid flicker or incomplete dimming range.

What length of surface does it cover?

The canopy is approximately 750mm long, meaning the three lights spread over a roughly 75cm zone. This suits kitchen islands between 150-220cm long when centred, or dining tables for 4-6 people.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry indoor rooms. For bathrooms, an IP44 or higher rating is required.
