Description

The Ambience Modern is an LED pendant light built around an oval disc diffuser suspended between two matt black metal bars on cable suspension. The integrated 30W LED panel inside the disc emits 1400 lumens at 3000K warm white, with a 120° beam angle that spreads light evenly across dining tables and kitchen islands. The disc measures approximately 800mm along its longest axis, creating a linear light source that works well above rectangular surfaces.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and commercial hospitality spaces with ceiling heights above 2.4m, the pendant provides functional task lighting without the visual clutter of multiple bulb fittings. The cable drop is adjustable during installation, allowing the disc to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height. The matt black metal frame and mounting bars give a contemporary, industrial aesthetic that pairs with modern interiors and minimalist colour palettes.

The LED panel is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer - check with your electrician before installation to confirm compatibility with your specific dimmer model. The 80 CRI rating reproduces colours accurately enough for general living and dining areas, though not to the colour-critical standards needed for art studios or photography. The IP20 rating confirms the fitting is suitable for dry interior environments only - not bathrooms, outdoor areas or other moisture-prone locations.

The flat oval disc diffuses light evenly across its surface, so there are no visible hotspots or LED dots when the fitting is switched on. This creates a softer appearance than exposed LED strips or visible bulbs. The 50Hz AC 220-240V input suits standard UK mains wiring, and the Energy Class G rating reflects the current EU energy labelling scale for integrated LED fittings (not comparable to older A++ scales).
