Description

This fluted cylinder pendant light features a ribbed aluminium column in a matt black finish, suspended on a matching black cable from a ceiling rose. The fitting accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) which sits recessed inside the cylinder, directing light downwards through the open base while the vertical flutes add textural detail to the exterior.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallways and commercial spaces where focused downlight is needed without a broad shade, the pendant works individually over a small surface or in runs of two to four units spaced 600-800mm apart along a counter or bar. The 1m cable drop is suitable for ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, positioning the pendant 700-900mm above a worktop. The GU10 fitting allows quick bulb changes without removing the cylinder.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 400g while the ribbed profile adds visual interest that catches sidelight and creates shadow lines. The matt black finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, making the pendant itself recede visually while the downlight cone becomes the focal element. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations including domestic kitchens, dining areas, retail spaces and office break-out zones.
