Description

The Rounge is a 600mm vertical LED wall sconce with a matt black aluminium frame and an integrated 16W LED delivering 800 lumens at 3000K. The light is mounted horizontally against the wall with the LED strip concealed behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser that runs the length of the fitting, casting a wide 130° beam angle of warm white light both up and down the wall surface.

Designed for outdoor installation on porches, garage sides, entrance walls and garden perimeter structures, the Rounge carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. The fitting sits approximately 80mm proud of the wall when installed, making it suitable for recessed doorways and areas where a compact projection is needed. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 220-240V mains and requires direct wiring to a suitable outdoor circuit with a switched spur or outdoor junction box.

The 600mm height gives the Rounge enough visual presence to mark an entrance or light a pathway when installed at typical door-frame height (1.6-1.8m above ground level). The matt black powder-coated aluminium frame resists corrosion from rain and coastal conditions, while the opal diffuser softens the LED output to reduce glare when viewed directly. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light comparable to traditional tungsten bulbs, which pairs well with brick, render, timber cladding and natural stone wall finishes.

IP54 provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making this fitting suitable for covered porches, garage sides, and exposed entrance walls. It is not waterproof for full submersion or heavy rain hosing, but handles typical UK weather conditions including wind-driven rain.

Is this light dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 16W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches or smart dimming controls.

What height should it be installed at?

For entrance lighting the Rounge is typically installed at door-frame height (1.6-1.8m above ground level) to cast light both up onto the wall and down onto the threshold. For pathway lighting it can be mounted lower, around 1.2-1.4m, to concentrate light output at ground level.

Can it be installed vertically or horizontally?

The Rounge is designed for vertical installation with the LED strip running the length of the fitting. Horizontal mounting is not recommended as it alters the intended up-and-down light distribution and may affect IP54 ingress protection.
