Description

The Floeva is an outdoor wall sconce with a rectangular black metal frame enclosing two textured glass diffuser panels on the front and side faces. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb up to 15W (sold separately) and carries an IP65 rating, protecting the internal components against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

Designed for external wall mounting on porches, patios, garage walls and garden structures, the Floeva provides both functional illumination and decorative detail through the textured glass panels. The dual-face design projects light forward onto pathways and sideways along wall surfaces, giving a wider spread than single-face wall lights. The black metal finish suits both modern and traditional exterior colour schemes, pairing with brick, render, weatherboard and stonework.

The textured surface on the glass diffusers breaks up direct glare from the bulb and creates a soft pattern of light and shadow on adjacent surfaces when lit. The metal frame sits flush to the wall via a rear mounting plate, with cable entry points at the back. The fitting accepts LED, CFL or traditional filament E27 bulbs, allowing control over light colour temperature and energy consumption depending on the bulb chosen.

IP65 means the fitting is fully protected against dust ingress (rating 6) and can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction (rating 5). This makes it suitable for exposed outdoor locations including those subject to rain, but not for submersion or direct high-pressure hosing.

What bulb should I use?

The fitting takes any standard E27 bulb up to 15W. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for porch and garden lighting. Bulbs are sold separately at Niori.

Can it be installed in a coastal environment?

The black powder-coated metal finish provides corrosion resistance in typical outdoor UK environments. For coastal locations with salt spray exposure, regular cleaning and inspection of the finish is recommended to maintain longevity.
