Description

The Longshore brings a warm, coastal note to the ceiling with a woven seagrass drum shade set on a dark steel fitting. The natural fibres run in fine vertical lines, catching and softening the light so the glow spreads gently across the room. Once switched on, the shade takes on a honeyed tone that suits relaxed, homely spaces.

The shade sits close to the ceiling on a compact semi-flush stem, making it a sensible choice for rooms with lower ceilings where a hanging pendant would feel too low. The black ceiling plate keeps the mount grounded and neat, while the open base of the drum casts a clear pool of light downwards. Each seagrass shade carries small variations in the weave, so no two are exactly alike.
