Description

The Elyra portable battery LED lantern pairs a spherical smoked glass globe with a brown powder-coated aluminium base and a black metal carry handle. The integrated 3W LED emits 88 lumens at 3000K through the frosted glass diffuser, providing ambient light for dining tables, side tables, outdoor seating areas and anywhere away from fixed wiring.

Rated IP54 for protection against dust and water splashes, the lantern can be used outdoors on patios, balconies and garden tables in dry weather, and brought indoors for winter use as a hallway, bedroom or bathroom accent light. The cordless rechargeable battery eliminates the need for visible cables, and the metal handle allows the lamp to be carried between rooms or hung from a hook or branch. The built-in dimmer control on the base adjusts brightness between full output and a low glow suitable for evening ambient lighting.

The smoked glass globe diffuses the LED into a soft sphere of light without harsh glare, while the warm 3000K colour temperature keeps the output comfortable for close-range use at dining tables or beside seating. The lantern recharges via a cable that connects to the base (cable type and charging duration should be confirmed with the manufacturer's documentation included with the product). Once charged, the battery powers the LED for several hours depending on the brightness setting selected.

Can it be used outdoors in rain?

The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes from any direction, so the lantern can handle light rain and damp conditions. It is not submersible and should not be left outdoors during heavy rain or storms.
