Description
The Focus is a surface-mounted LED cylinder downlight delivering 960 lumens from a 13W integrated LED module. The black aluminium cylinder housing mounts directly to the ceiling surface without requiring a recessed cutout, making it suitable for ceilings with limited depth above or where electrical services cannot be accessed from above.
Designed for accent lighting in retail spaces, galleries, hospitality and residential interiors, the 38° beam angle provides directed light to highlight wall art, architectural details, or merchandise displays. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, closer to halogen than daylight, and the 90 CRI rating means colours are rendered accurately under the beam. The fitting operates on 48V AC low-voltage supply, so it requires a separate driver (sold separately) between the mains supply and the luminaire.
The cylinder measures approximately 150mm in height and 60mm in diameter, giving a low-profile presence once mounted. The matt black finish on the aluminium housing absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping attention on the lit subject rather than the fitting itself. The fixed downward orientation means the beam cannot be tilted after installation, so positioning needs to be finalised before fixing. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry interior locations only.

Frequently Asked
What voltage does this operate on?
The luminaire runs on 48V AC low voltage. It requires a separate 48V driver (sold separately) between the mains supply and the fitting. It cannot be connected directly to 230V mains.
Is it dimmable?
No. The integrated LED module is not dimmable. Attempting to dim it using a standard mains dimmer will likely damage the driver or the LED module.
Can the beam angle be adjusted?
No. The cylinder is fixed in a downward orientation. The beam angle of 38° is determined by the LED module and reflector inside the housing and cannot be changed. If directional flexibility is needed, consider an adjustable track-mounted spotlight instead.
What's the difference between 3000K and 4000K?
3000K is warm white, similar in tone to halogen or incandescent lamps, with a slight yellow cast. 4000K is neutral white, closer to daylight, with no yellow tint. For residential and hospitality spaces, 3000K is typically preferred; for offices and task lighting, 4000K is more common.
