Description

This honeycomb lens is a transparent plastic accessory designed to fit 15W LED downlight modules, narrowing the beam angle to 45° and reducing direct glare from the LED source. The honeycomb structure breaks up the light path through a series of hexagonal cells, softening the beam edge and controlling light spill beyond the primary cone.

Used in offices, retail display lighting and residential settings where downlights need to illuminate a specific task area without scattering light across adjacent surfaces, the lens clips or sits into the downlight trim ring depending on the specific module it pairs with. The 45° beam angle suits ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m for focused task lighting over desks, counters and display shelves.

The transparent finish maintains the full lumen output of the LED while directing it more tightly than an open downlight aperture would. The plastic construction withstands typical indoor operating temperatures for LED downlights and can be wiped clean if dust accumulates on the honeycomb cells. This lens is a replacement or upgrade accessory for compatible 15W downlight modules and is not sold as a standalone light fitting.
