This 450mm opal glass diffuser is a replacement component for flush ceiling lights that use a circular glass disc with a polished chrome metal rim. The opal white glass provides even light diffusion across the surface, reducing glare from ceiling-mounted LED or bulb fittings behind the glass.

Designed as a spare or replacement part for ceiling lights already installed, the diffuser fits models with a 450mm outer diameter glass opening. The chrome rim secures the glass into the ceiling fitting's metal frame, typically via spring clips or a threaded ring depending on the specific model. The glass sits flush with the ceiling once fitted, creating a low-profile appearance suitable for rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights.

The opal finish is a translucent white glass that allows approximately 80-85% light transmission while softening the direct output from LED modules or bulbs. The glass itself is approximately 4-5mm thick, providing durability during handling and installation.
