Description

The Power Supply Exility is a 100W LED driver housed in a white aluminium enclosure, designed as a voltage source for track lighting systems. The driver accepts AC 180-265V 50Hz mains input and converts it to a stable low-voltage output for LED track lighting rails. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes, making it suitable for covered outdoor installations and damp interior environments such as bathrooms and wet rooms.

Designed for permanent installation within a track lighting system, the driver typically mounts inside a ceiling void or above a suspended ceiling, with the output feeding directly into the track rail. The 100W capacity supports multiple LED track heads depending on their individual wattage, allowing flexibility to build a track system with 3-8 spotlights depending on each head's power draw. The driver is not dimmable, so it pairs with non-dimming track systems or applications where fixed output is acceptable.

The white aluminium housing acts as a heat sink, dissipating the thermal load generated during voltage conversion. The compact rectangular form factor measures approximately 250mm in length, fitting into standard ceiling voids without requiring additional clearance for ventilation. The driver includes cable entry points at one end and output terminals at the other, allowing straightforward wiring during installation by a qualified electrician.

No. This driver provides fixed output and does not support dimming. If dimming capability is required, a dedicated dimmable driver and compatible track system are needed.

How many track heads can this driver support?

The 100W capacity supports multiple LED track heads depending on their individual wattage. For example, if each track head draws 12W, the driver can support up to 8 heads. Check the total wattage of your track heads to confirm compatibility.

What does IP54 mean for installation?

IP54 provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. This makes the driver suitable for damp locations such as bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, and other environments where moisture exposure is possible but not constant submersion.
