Description
This 60W LED driver is a voltage transformer that converts 220-240V AC mains power to 24V DC output for low-voltage LED strip lighting, tape lights and compatible LED modules. The white plastic housing measures approximately 185mm long by 40mm wide by 30mm deep, designed to be concealed above ceilings, inside cabinet voids or behind joinery where mains wiring is accessible.
Designed for indoor residential and commercial installations where LED strip or tape lighting operates on 24V DC, the driver handles up to 60W of connected load. This translates to approximately 5 metres of standard-density 12W/m LED strip or 3 metres of higher-density 20W/m strip. The driver is non-dimmable, so dimming control must be achieved through a separate dimmer installed between the driver output and the LED load, or by using a dimmable driver instead.
The IP20 rating means the driver is suitable for dry indoor environments only - kitchens, living rooms, wardrobes, under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting and feature wall installations where moisture is not present. The white finish on the plastic housing blends into ceiling voids and matches standard UK electrical enclosures. Input terminals accept 220-240V AC at 50/60Hz, and output terminals provide 24V DC with push-fit or screw-terminal connections depending on the specific model variant.

Frequently Asked
How much LED strip can this driver power?
The 60W output supports approximately 5 metres of 12W/m LED strip or 3 metres of 20W/m strip. Always calculate the total wattage of your LED run and keep it below 60W to avoid overloading the driver.
Is this driver dimmable?
No. This model provides fixed 24V DC output and cannot be controlled by a mains dimmer. To achieve dimming, install a separate 24V DC LED dimmer between the driver output and the LED strip, or choose a dimmable driver instead.
Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating means this driver is suitable for dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms or outdoor installations, an IP44 or IP65 rated driver is required depending on the zone and exposure to moisture.
Where should the driver be mounted?
The driver should be concealed in a dry, ventilated space such as above a suspended ceiling, inside a cabinet void, behind joinery or in a service cupboard where mains wiring is accessible. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent heat build-up.
