Description
The Power Supply Exility is a 100W constant voltage LED driver housed in a black powder-coated aluminium case measuring approximately 280mm long. The unit converts AC 180-265V mains input to low-voltage DC output suitable for powering LED strip lighting, modules and other constant voltage LED loads up to 100W total draw. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes, allowing the driver to be installed in damp locations including covered outdoor areas.
Designed for recessed installation in false ceilings, wall cavities or under cabinetry where LED strip or module lighting is being retrofitted or installed new, the driver includes a mounting bracket with pre-drilled fixing points and a 1.5m output cable that terminates in a connector block. The 180-265V wide input range accommodates voltage fluctuations common in older buildings and allows the same unit to be used across different European supply voltages.
The aluminium housing acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat generated during power conversion across the full length of the case. The black finish is a textured powder coat rather than gloss paint, which improves scratch resistance during installation and hides the unit when surface-mounted in exposed industrial or retail lighting schemes. The driver operates silently with no audible hum or buzz at full load.
This is a non-dimmable constant voltage driver. If the installation requires dimming, a separate PWM controller or DALI/DMX control interface must be fitted between the driver output and the LED load. Pairing this driver with a dimmer switch on the mains input side will cause flicker or failure.

Frequently Asked
Can this driver be used outdoors?
The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for covered outdoor installations such as under eaves, in pergolas, or within weatherproof enclosures. It is not rated for direct exposure to rain or submersion.
Is this driver dimmable?
No. This is a non-dimmable constant voltage driver. Attempting to dim it using a mains dimmer switch will cause flicker or damage. If dimming is required, a separate PWM or 0-10V controller must be installed between the driver output and the LED load.
What output voltage does it provide?
The specification list shows input voltage but not output voltage. Contact Niori before purchasing if you need to confirm the output voltage (typically 12V DC or 24V DC for constant voltage LED drivers) matches your LED installation requirements.
Where should it be installed?
The driver is designed for recessed installation in ceilings, wall cavities, or under cabinetry where ventilation allows heat to dissipate. Allow at least 50mm clearance around the case for airflow. Do not bury the driver in insulation or enclose it in a sealed box.
