Description
The Kasai brings a weighty, handmade feel to any corner of the home. Standing 500mm tall, its rounded body tapers to a narrow, gently distressed neck that opens into a shallow lip. The finish shows the marks of the hammering process across the upper shoulder, giving the piece a sense of age and craft that reads as genuinely made rather than machine-perfect.
Formed from aluminium in a warm bronze tone, the lower two thirds carry a closely spaced ribbed texture that catches the light in fine horizontal bands. The pale, worn highlights around the rim and base contrast against the deeper bronze of the body, so the vase feels lived-in from the first day. It works as a standalone floor piece or grouped with other vessels of differing heights for a collected look.
Use it empty to let the shape and surface speak for themselves, or fill it with tall dried grasses, pampas or branches for height. At 370mm wide it holds its ground on the floor beside a sofa, in a hallway, or on a hearth. The metal build keeps it stable and hard-wearing for everyday display.

Frequently Asked
What is the vase made from?
It is made from aluminium finished in a warm bronze tone, giving it a solid, hard-wearing feel.
Can I put water and fresh flowers in it?
We recommend it for dried or faux stems. Use a slim waterproof liner or tube inside if you want fresh flowers, as the metal body is not sealed for standing water.
How tall is it?
It stands 500mm high and measures 370mm across, making it a floor-standing size.
How do I clean the ribbed surface?
Dust with a soft dry cloth, working along the ribbed bands. Avoid abrasive cleaners so the bronze finish and worn highlights stay intact.
Will each vase look the same?
The hammered upper section and distressed rim are part of the handmade finish, so slight variation in tone and marking is expected between pieces.
