Description

The Ica Twin-Handled Vase brings a hand-crafted, worn look to a room without asking for much fuss. Made from earthenware, each piece carries a raised geometric pattern of zigzags and small dashes across the body, with two rounded handles set at the neck. The finish mixes soft cream tones with darker, aged shading, so no two pieces look quite the same.

The shape is tall and gently tapered, sitting somewhere between a jug and a jar. It works well on its own as a quiet centrepiece, or grouped with other pottery for a relaxed, collected feel. Leave it empty to let the texture do the talking, or fill it with dried stems and grasses that suit its earthy character. Fresh flowers are best kept in a liner, as earthenware is porous.

Available in 2 sizes, from a small version to a taller medium, so you can pick the height that suits a shelf, sideboard or floor spot. Both share the same pattern and handled shape, which makes them easy to pair together for a tiered display.

Is this vase suitable for fresh flowers?

Earthenware is porous, so we suggest using a waterproof liner or a smaller container inside if you want to display fresh stems. It also works well with dried flowers and grasses.

Will the pattern and colour look identical on every piece?

The rounded loop handles are part of the design and add to the look, but as with any ceramic piece we suggest supporting the base when moving it.
